Summer School

Please take a look in your child's binder.  I sent home summer school information yesterday.  Please let me know one way or another if you plan to send them.  To make it easy I attached a sheet to send back to me with your choice.  I told the kids they get Treasure Box once they return it to me!  :) There were A LOT of smiles!

Summer school is a wonderful way to keep their skills sharp over the summer.  I have highlighted my recommendations in the booklet, but there are an abundant amount of choices!

Everybody Needs a Rock

I totally agree that everybody need a rock!  I had a rock growing up, and when I moved my memory box went missing. I am still devastated by if.  It had my blanket, letters from the past and my GOLDEN pet rock.  When I student taught in CA I read my 1st graders the book Everybody Needs a Rock.  I showed my kids my rock.  Then I moved to TX and the box went missing...  😥

We all collected and made our pet rocks this week.  The kids were so proud!!
