Time to Taste

Our taste test faces were soooooo cute!  Some things got a thumbs up!!!  CRUNCHY crackers, SALTY chips, SWEET gummies and YUMMY TO OUR TUMMY M&M's were among the thumbs up!

 

Somethings got a thumbs down - lemons were not a hit with all!

 

Some just got the cutest little SOUR faces ever!!!!!  

Some were not even sure if they wanted to try???

All in all we had a wonderful time leaning all about our five senses.

CrossWALK

Today we learned all about the CrossWALK from a real crossing guard.  The kids even got to WALK in the CrossWALK safely.  The kids learned it is not called a CrossRUN, a CrossSPIN or a CROSSdance.  We learned all about the rules of staying safe at Christie, especially in the CrossWALK.  Our kids know it is their job to stay safe and our job to keep them safe.  Christie is a safe and fun school for everyone.  

My heart is so happy here and growing bigger daily watching Christie become your child's school family.  Thank you for sharing them with us!  We promise to take excellent care of them.  One of my favorite quotes ever....

We are learning all about our brains.  Your child's mind amazes me!!!  I was so impressed with what the children already knew and what they said to fill in our web.  We will continue to learn about our brains, feelings and how to calm ourselves down, breathe and use our words to exoress our emotions.  Ask your child all about what they have learned.  It will amaze you!!!
