Every day I head to school as the sun is still waking up. By 6:30 I am making my second cup of coffee "to go." I show up at 6:45 to prepare myself in the quiet of the room for your precious children. As I prepare I look at my own Jack and Mace. I think how thankful I am for their teachers. They adore them! They love school. My husband and I couldn't ask for more for my own children, and it gets me thinking. I hope you know how deeply I love your children as my own. I hope you know I spend countless hours preparing for them. I hope you know how I fight with them for their successes. I hope you know they are my heart. I hope you know how blessed I feel to be their teacher. I hope you know how much I have loved spending this year with your family. I think I am getting sentimental in this last month of school.
This particular day I looked at this sky and I said, "Thank you!! Thank you for my life, my profession, my kids! Jack and Mace are my heart, but my students have completely stolen my heart. 💓
