Castles and Wonder

Our castle is awesome!  The kids have had a blast playing in it.  They were given Invitations to the Queen's Ball, and they have had a wonderful time using their imagination and building on to the castle.  I love this age.  So full of wonder!  

Next week we will start our I Wonder Board.  Talk to you kids about what they wonder and want to know more about!

Group Picture Day

Especially THURSDAY, February 2nd!  It is group picture day!!!  

Our Beanstalk

So yesterday the kids threw their magic beans out of the window at Jack's house.  

And GUESS WHAT!?!?!???!!  A beanstalk grew!!!

Today we made the Giant's Castle!  

Tomorrow we are going to talk about turning our house into a REAL castle!  How can we do that?  We'll let you know soon!!!  

Popcorn and pics

Lost and Found

Christie Elementary is making some changes to the way “lost and found” items are managed.  In order to make it easier for students and parents to claim lost items, all clothing items will be displayed in the hallway near the office.  All lost and found items will be donated at the end of each month, in order to keep the collection managable.  Please be sure to drop by and look for your student’s belongings before the end of January!
