We talked about being a good student this week and read David Goes to School. 
The kids did a great job coming up with ways to be a good student in our class. 
One of our Essential Questions for language is Why Are Words and Pictures Important? 
Some of their answers included,
*We wouldn't have names!
*You couldn't talk to your parents.
*At school you couldn't write.
*Pictures are pretty.
How would you make for your family without words or pictures???
Such thoughtful answers!
